Reworking the tags

I don’t know if the topic is particularly relevant. But I personally think it would be great if the tags could be reworked a bit because I think they only very roughly reflect the status/progress of an extension.

In my opinion, “Approved” would be more like the “checkmark” on Twitch, that indicates that the extension is checked and recognized by you.
I think it would be good if there was a new “tag” that shows that an extension itself works without any problems and no longer needs any “tests” but is not “verified” by you guys, if you understand what I mean.
Also, would it be possible to make the “Submissions” tag a subcategory? Since you can’t open links from extensions as a viewer, it would be practical if you could, e.g. set “Testing” as main tag but then “Submission” as the second one so that the team can approve it and at the same time but users also have the opportunity to see the extension but get notified with “A review for approval has been requested for this extension” or something like that.

In my opinion, this would also take some pressure off the team to test every extension and at the same time users would also know that the ones you tested really work and are “up to date”.

I think the issue in realizing this might actually be a limitation on the Discourse platform itself unfortunately. We currently make due with what the system is capable of

Will have to look into it tho
